Starting Pay:  $18.90 - $25 per hour

Shift: 1st Shift:  8:00 am - 5:00 pm 

We are hiring a Plant Purchasing Associate for our Beaumont, CA plant who will support the maintenance team making sure they secure the right parts to ensure our machines are operating and production runs smoothly. This is a full-time position within our manufacturing facility with opportunities for advancement!

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for monthly and yearly closing with MRO for purchasing spares and supplies for maintenance, production, sanitation and safety.
• Analyze result of monthly purchasing to derive cost-saving tasks and execute cost-saving tasks with related department.
• Manage and control the inventory, shortage risk for all spares, supplies and tools.
• Monitoring the price trends and suggest innovative idea to improve expenses.
• Manage and control all purchasing items to be purchased through the CMMS MRO system 100%.
• Continuous improvement to reduce price of any purchased items.
• Increase accuracy of monthly manufacturing cost forecasting by monitoring the expense uses and production index.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or combination of education and experience
• 1+ years’ experience in procurement and sourcing role in a manufacturing environment
• Microsoft Office Suite experience
