We are hiring a Manager Warehousing Systems located in our Salina, KS Distribution Center. If you are a strong communicator, team player and highly technical, this role is for you!
Responsibilities:
- Engage and lead cross-functionally to implement technical solutions and process changes to drive efficiencies.
- Work with technical partners to design, develop, test and implement system solutions.
- Responsible for the testing, validation, effectiveness, and quality of the technologies used to operate the facility.
- Manages and directs daily Control Room operations, system analyst, and order/data entry.
- Manages and directs daily distribution reporting and analysis.
- Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Manages and maintains system/processes to capture, validate, record, maintain and publish data reflecting the status, location, and availability of finished goods and samples.
- Manages and maintains the availability, accountability, and reconciliation for secondary inventories.
- Responsible to conduct yourself and ensure your subordinates (if applicable) conduct themselves in a manner consistent with company mission, values, code of ethics, policies, and other standards of conduct.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- 4+ years direct applicable professional related experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in trouble shooting, problem solving, root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
- Experience working with warehouse automation equipment and software and warehouse management systems.
- Experience implementing and managing technical solutions in a large, complex warehouse environment.
- Fundamental knowledge of Relational Database such as Microsoft SQL Preferred (This is the Database that Savanna.NET runs on)
- Data Analysis & Visualization with Power BI (preferred) or Tableau
- Familiar understanding of programming, creation & troubleshooting (This is critical for managing projects like the EWM integration.)
- Intermediate proficiency in the operation of a personal computer in a Windows environment to include Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
- Advanced proficiency with numeric data analysis.
- The ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining the ability to re-direct efforts based upon shifting demands.
- The ability to maintain confidentiality.
- The ability to work flexible hours depending on business needs.
Compensation and Benefits:
The base salary range for this position is $73,500 to $122,500 annually with eligibility for a 15% annual incentive bonus, that is based on organizational performance. The pay range represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to educations, skills, work experience, certifications, geography etc. As such, starting pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
