We are hiring a Maintenance Technician IV - 1st Shift in our Westfield, NY location. This position is on 1st Shift.

Responsibilities:

• Associates or Bachelor's in area of specialization Years of Experience: 10+ years of maintenance
• Knowledge, Skills, abilities: Specialized maintenance training such as Electrical journeyman, PLC specialized training or degree
• Ability to troubleshoot complex maintenance issues within area of specialization.
• Advanced Electrical and Maintenance knowledge required
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to complete work orders, carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form and complete required paperwork
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals and calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area circumference, and volume
• Mechanical knowledge and ability to expand knowledge and skills via on-the-job and formal training directed at increasing job-related skills as mandated by management
• Basic computer skills
• Good problem-solving skills
• Ability to comply with all general safety policies and procedures in accordance with Company, Local, State, and Federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules and regulations

Qualifications:

• This position is responsible for the highest technical and specialty maintenance tasks in the plant or DC. Typically, is seen as an expert in the field of refrigeration, electrical, or electronics programming.
• Conducts specialized maintenance tasks in the plant solving complex problems and using specialized expertise to bring solutions.
• Performs duties consistent with electrical journeyman activities
• Coaches junior staff on complex maintenance issues within areas of expertise

Compensation and Benefits:

The base salary range for this position starts at $35.00 per hour, with a shift differential of $1.50. The pay range represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to educations, skills, work experience, certifications, geography etc. As such, starting pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
